SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION & AWARENESS MONTH


Dawson County Schools will hold a QPR Gatekeeper Training on Thursday, September 10th at the following times:


10 A.M. TO 11 A.M. (ONLINE)

OR

6 P.M. TO 7 P.M. (IN-PERSON)

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer

- the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.


As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper you will learn to: 

Recognize the warning signs of suicide,  know how to offer hope, and know how to get help and save a life
